Cancer Ministry

After a Diagnosis of Cancer Support Group
 
Meets: twice a month, first and third Mondays, at North Adams Regional Hospital
 
Chair: Holly Blohm of First United Methodist Church of Williamstown
 
Co-leader on as needed basis: Rev. Michelle Grube, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Williamstown
 
Goals of the cancer ministry of First United Methodist Church of Williamstown
  1. Continue efforts to let the church body and the community know about the ministry
  2. Identify people who have been diagnosed with cancer and come alongside them and their family to provide support as appropriate. This support may include prayer support, visitation, meals, assistance with transportation, financial assistance, nutrition education, cancer education, running errands, etc.
